Take Me To Post Comment Form The dedication of the Maple Trees in memory of Marie and Maggie Nelson will be held in front of the Library on Monday, October 19th at 11:00 AM. The Nelson family will attend and the public is being invited.

For those of you who did not know Maggie or the background. Maggie was a Library Trustee for nine years and then was elected to the Conyers City Council and served there for several years. She passed in late September after a long and noble battle with cancer. Her daughter, Marie, was killed in an automobile accident last year. She graduated from Rockdale High in 2000.

If you have a few moments and want to come by the library to show you support for the Nelsons, or just want to show support for someone stricken with cancer whos life has touch yours, please stop by.
